Chedlin Justinvil
Chedlin Justinvil is the Founder and Director of Yahve-Jire Children’s Foundation (YJCF), founder of Institution Mixte Yahve-Jire, architect, and pastor of Mission Assemblee Chretienne Elim d’Haiti.
Born and raised in Haiti in a poor family, Chedlin understands personally the struggles many vulnerable children face every day. During his youth, he was supported and encouraged by missionaries who helped him continue his education and pursue a better future. That support deeply impacted his life and inspired him to dedicate himself to helping others.
Through determination, faith, and hard work, he became an architect and later committed hi life to serving children, families, and communities in Haiti. His desire has always been to give back to his country by helping vulnerable children receive the love, protection, education, and spiritual guidance that can transform their future.
With his vision, he founded Yahve-Jire Children’s Foundation, a ministry dedicated to caring for orphaned and vulnerable children. Under his leadership, YJCF has become more than a children’s home it is a family where children are raised with Christian values, discipline, education, and hope.
Chedlin is also a pastor and founder of Mission Assemblee Chretienne Elim d’Haiti, a growing ministry made up of three churches. Through pasotral ministry, evangelism, discipleship, and community outreach, he continues to share the Gospel and encourage people spiritually throughout Haiti.
Despite the many challenges Haiti faces today, including insecurity and displacement, he remains committed to the mission God placed in his heart: serving children, strengthening families, and sharing the love of Christ through practical compassion and faith.
His vision is to see children grow into educated, responsible, and faithful adults who can positively impact Haiti and future generations.
Daphnee
Daphnee was born on April 30 and has been part of Yahve-Jire Children’s Foundation since its establishment in 2006. She comes from a very needy family with eight children and is the youngest in her family.
From a young age, Daphne showed discipline, intelligence, and a strong desire to learn. Growing up at YJCF helped shape her character, education, and faith. Today, she is a nurse and teacher who serves her community with dedication and compassion.
Because of her strong sense of responsibility and honesty, she also helps with the finances and administration of the institution. Daphnee is a wonderful example of how love, education, faith, and opportunity can transform the life of a child.
Emmanuel
Emmanuel was born on December 25 and entered YJCF in 2006. He grew up in the children’s home and became known for his humility, leadership, and dedication to God.
Today, Emmanuel is a theology student, teacher, and one of the spiritual leaders of the children’s home. He helps organize spiritual activities, prayer times, devotions, and encourages the younger children in their faith.
He is also responsible for helping with the maintenance and daily care of the home. Emmanuel has become a positive role model for the children and a testimony of how YJCF continues to impact lives through Christian education and discipleship.
Daphnee and Emmanuel both represent the mission and vision of YJCF very well. They are examples of children who grew up in the family home and are now giving back by serving others with love and responsibility.
